How the trust score works
Transparent, no hidden magic
The four factors
- Confirmed volume (35%) — how many trades both parties confirmed. Early trades count most; saturates around 50.
- Dispute-free rate (30%) — share of trades with no dispute. The only factor that pulls the score down hard.
- Account tenure (20%) — how long the account has existed; ramps over ~2 years.
- Verification (15%) — completed checks (ID, payment, address…); saturates at 3 badges.
How trades get confirmed
A trade only counts once both parties confirm it — a one-sided claim never moves the number. That is what makes the score a real safety credential rather than a self-reported badge.
New accounts show as Unrated until their first confirmed trade. We never invent a score for an account with no history.
